5 FarmVille Tips to Help Your Farm Grow Faster
1. Work that ribbon
If you think about it, it’s actually easy to earn a few ribbons in FarmVille. As you play and go about your daily tasks, you will wind up accomplishing at least some of the early ribbon-worthy tasks. You will notice as well that when you do win one, the bonuses they pay out are pretty hefty. Following this logic, you can actually earn a lot of experience and money points quickly if you collect as many ribbons as you can.
This is relatively easy to do, but you do have to put some effort into it if you want to get as much as you can out of your FarmVille experience. And here are some tips to help you do just that.
2. Start by knowing what you need. You can only focus on getting ribbons if you know what you need to get them. Finding what you need is easy. All you have to do is click the ribbon icon in the lower right hand corner of your screen. This will bring up a list of all of the possible ribbons and show you how you’re progressing in each category.
3. Just choose one… for the meantime. Remember that you only have limited FarmVille resources, especially if you’re just starting out. It’s a good idea to focus on one type of ribbon at a time. It’s very likely that whatever you do to earn those ribbons will help you to earn some other ones as well, but you should start focusing on those once you get them.
4. Learn about the ribbons first. Before you decide which set of ribbons to go after first, familiarize yourself with all the ribbons first. This way, you’ll be able to get a good sense of which ribbons to go for first. For example, the Tree Hugger ribbons require that you harvest fruit from a particular number of unique trees, which means that you’ll have to have a variety of different types of trees on your farm before you get the said ribbons. The Knock on Wood ribbons can easily be earned. You simply have to harvest any type of tree a certain number of times. This means that if you focus on earning the Tree Hugger ribbons, you’ll automatically be making progress towards the Knock on Wood ribbons as well.
5. Love thy neighbors. If you’re new to the game, then most probably you’re only focused on your own farm. You have to keep in mind though that having neighbors and playing neighbors at that can help you earn ribbons, both directly and indirectly. By having a certain number of neighbors, you can actually be awarded another ribbon. You can also have ribbons by helping your neighbors out and by receiving gifts from your neighbors. All of these categories will be easier if you have more neighbors so go ahead and add some more!
